Guests on board our Classic River Safari had an incredible wildlife encounter this week. Whilst navigating the shallow currents 800m above the Victoria Falls they came across an elephant making its way between the islands. Our brilliant Captain, Misheck, managed to control the boat in a stable surf-like manner against the strong current, at a respectful distance from the elephant. Placing our guests in a unique and incredible position to observe the elephant negotiate the strong waters and uneven ground beneath the surface.
