New airline anticipated

Sol Air, Zimbabwe's new airline, is anticipated to begin operations in September this year.

The airline will offer a fleet consisting of 5 aircrafts, however it is expected to expand over time.

The fleet will consist of three Boeing 737-800s and two Boeing 777-300s. The airline is also planning to obtain two 30-seater turbo-prop small aircrafts for routes such as Tete, Lusaka, Kariba and Buffalo Range.

FastJet increases Harare - Victoria Falls flights

FastJet is increasing the frequency of flights on the Harare - Victoria Falls route.

There will be two extra flights added to the route, beginning on 2 July, meaning the route will operate twice a day, six times a week. The only day the route will not be serviced twice a day, is on Sundays, where there will only be one daily flight servicing this route.
