Located on the great Chobe River that borders Namibia and the Chobe National Park in Botswana, the Zambezi Queen Collection is made up of four houseboats; the ever elegant Zambezi Queen and her three Chobe Princesses as well as the secluded tented Ichingo Chobe River Lodge.

Each of the 3 safari house boats have beautifully appointed cabins, each en-suite and with large sliding windows opening onto the Chobe River. There are outstanding facilities on board including a sun deck and plunge pool and we have no set departure dates/itineraries or minimum number of nights.  There are 5 full time staff on board including a top chef.

 

They cruise for at least 5 hours a day and dock at one of 3 exclusive docking sites within the Chobe National Park.  Each Chobe Princess has 3 dedicated tender boats for activities such as game viewing, birding or fishing which provide each guest with the flexibility to pursue their own activities at their own pace.

  

ACCOMMODATION AT CHOBE PRINCESSES:

  • Two safariboats have 4x double/twin en-suite cabins sharing accommodating a max of 8x Pax each

  • One safariboat has 5x double/twin en-suite cabins sharing, accommodating a max of 10x Pax

 

Child Policy

  • Children of all ages Welcome.  

  • Children under 13 years are to be supervised by a parent/guardian at all times.

  • CHOBE PRINCESSES: Can accommodate ONLY 1x child (7 years and under) on EACH BOAT on a mattress on the floor in ONE of the cabins.

  • Please Note: There are no separate menus / activities for children.

Access details

  • Kasane is readily accessible by road from South Africa, Namibia, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

  • Air Botswana and SA Airlink fly between Johannesburg and Kasane (Botswana) and in addition there are flights from Johannesburg to Livingstone (Zambia) and Victoria Falls (Zimbabwe).​
