Explorer Safaris 2027
A Century-Old Warehouse Turned Harbourside Icon, Named for the Queen and Prince Who Built the Basin Below It
Cape Town does not hold still long enough to be one thing. Table Mountain, the Atlantic coastline, and centuries of layered history all sit within reach of The Victoria & Alfred Hotel.
Built in 1904 as the North Quay Warehouse and named for Queen Victoria and Prince Alfred, this hotel offers 94 rooms with views over the Alfred Basin, Table Mountain, or the piazza.
Three guided days follow: a half-day tour tracing Table Mountain and the colour of Bo-Kaap, a full day along the Cape Peninsula to the penguins of Boulders Beach, and a full day through the vineyards of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.
