Community Development Projects in Hwange National Park, Zimbabwe

Several unique and beautiful camps, that form a part of our Bushtracks Africa properties portfolio, directly support the African Bush Camps Foundation.

The foundation is involved with various community outreach projects, education programs and wildlife conservation efforts. They are passionate about developing the communities in the areas surrounding their camps, and work hard to ensure that members of the community are empowered and uplifted.

Watch the video below to see the some of the amazing projects they have implemented in the Hwange National Park region of Zimbabwe, such as the Cattle Boma Project, various projects at local schools, the Chicken Project, the Low Cost Housing Project, the Vukani Bead Project and the Thandanani Sewing Project to name a few.

The foundation relies primarily on funding from African Bush Camps, which comes directly from travelers who visit their properties. Every time you visit one of their camps, like Somalisa Camp, you are indirectly supporting some of these really wonderful initiatives and changing someone's life.
