An important update to all travellers crossing the Victoria Falls Bridge!
As you may be aware, a toll fee for all vehicles crossing the Victoria Falls Bridge was recently introduced by The Emerged Railways Properties, who manage the bridge on behalf of both Zambia and Zimbabwe.
We at Bushtracks Africa have been in separate negotiations with the ERP, with whom we share a close relationship due to our trains crossing the bridge several times a week. Unfortunately this is a Statutory Instrument and we have no option but to pass on the fee to our clients.
Bushtracks has set the toll at a total of US $2,50 per person, per crossing. The toll fee will cover each one way crossing from Victoria Falls to Livingstone, or from Livingstone to Victoria Falls.
We will automatically be including the toll fee charge in the rates for those crossing the bridge. This fee will only be applicable to all of our transfer vehicles crossing the bridge, The Royal Livingstone Express and The Bushtracks Express will remain unaffected.
This will be effective from 27 March 2018.
