Guests review a "wow experience" with Bushtracks Africa

Nothing puts a smile on our face like hearing that our guests have had an incredible time. Jean and Ariane Rey are two such guests who had a time with Bushtracks Africa worth sharing. Below is a positive letter that we received from them.

You can also experience an adventure as lavish and exciting! Just drop us a mail.

Day 1

We landed at Victoria Falls Airport.

We were met at the airport on time and transferred to the border from Zimbabwe to Zambia. Extremely efficient and your colleagues made this look an easy "passage" between the two borders - only taking a few minutes. The Bushtracks Africa representatives were by our side each second, helping us through the formalities.

Segway Tour - This is the only tour which should be more detailed. I was unable to do this due to a back injury as we had to ride an unknown mechanism. Should I have known, what it was, we would not have booked. From the description, we understood it was a walking tour of the property, around Royal Livingstone and its park. I did advise the Bushtracks Africa's representative on duty at the Avani Activity Centre that this was not described correctly and the clients should be told what it entails. My husband did do it at 57! He had a fall. Grazed badly but he survived. My suggestions is it should be sold to younger people, with explicit details of what it is. One of our daughters, although in her late 20s, said she would never do that either.

Royal Livingstone Hotel is in a class of its own. SUPERB!

The service is attentive and professional. The food is delicious. The Service is impeccable. Our room was magnificent! We would rate it a 5 Star plus - DELUXE.

This Hotel is Sublime.

Day 2

Again. Bushtracks Africa's representatives made it look so easy the passing between the 2 borders.

On the Zimbabwe side we were met by Joshua, whom we had for the whole day. We did the Victoria Falls park excursion. Joshua was knowledgeable and passionate. After spending a great morning at Vic Falls we headed for lunch at the Victoria Falls Hotel.

Lovely and Colonial hotel, a must see, however we are glad we did not chose to stay there, as it gave us the impression of being a "train station" as it seems to be the meeting place of many! Somewhat crowded and noisy.

Joshua waited discreetly, at the entrance of the hotel, between each of our pick ups ie: helicopter company to collect us and drop us, as well as for the Zambezi Explorer Diner Cruise company to collect us.

The helicopter 25 minutes flight was stunning. A must do.

Zambezi Explorer Diner Cruise - was fantastic! What an experience?

Sophistication and gastronomy on the Zambezi. White starch table clothes on each table. Lovely table setting. The meal was scrumptious. The choice of drinks were more than satisfactory, a wide choice of imported spirits and wines.

Day 3

Visit to Livingstone Island with swim in the Devil's Pool and Lunch. A wow experience!

It was magic.

Again, we were accompanied by expert guides to the pool. We swam for a long time. A memorable experience. The lunch was delicious. A sit down, around a beautifully laid table setting. Wide choice of imported spirits and wine. Three course meal. Served at the table. Magic!

Day 4

Transfer to the airport was a smooth ride and we were met again by Joshua on the Zimbabwe side.

Joshua was a super star. He went beyond the call of duty.

Well done Genevieve, for your expert recommendations. Your hard work, and dedication, to make your clients' trip turned to a dream to a reality. Your advice was greatly appreciated. Also thank all your team of colleagues on the Zambia and Zimbabwe sides, who contributed to making our trip a memorable one. We shall be back with our grown up children.

Genevieve you are an asset to Bushtracks Africa - Keep up the passion and dedication for your work.

Best

Jean and Ariane Rey
