Air Tanzania will reintroduce flights between Dar es Salaam - Harare and Dar es Salaam - Lusaka at the end of February this year.
The airline has not serviced these routes for a number of years, however they have decided to continue with the routes as Zimbabwe becomes more tourist friendly.
“This is a positive development for Zimbabwe as it shows an increase in destination confidence. This development provides tourists, business and leisure travellers with more connection options to Lusaka, Dar es Salaam and beyond. Such air connectivity contributes immensely to the economic recovery,” says David Chawota, the General Manager of the Civil Aviation Authority of Zimbabwe.
