Americans who are fully vaccinated may now travel

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has announced that Americans who are fully vaccinated may travel both domestically and internationally, "at low risk to themselves". The new CDC guidance states that fully vaccinated travellers must still take the advised precautions, such as washing hands often, wearing a face mask in public, and maintaining social distancing.

The science shows us that getting fully vaccinated allows you to do more things safely and it’s important for us to provide that guidance even in the context of rising cases”, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky stated in her briefing.
