The Upper Zambezi (the stretch of river upstream of Victoria Falls) offers a calm, wildlife-rich contrast to the white water below. Raft float safaris depart from Livingstone, drifting through National Park land on both sides of the river, with genuine chances of seeing hippo, crocodile and excellent birdlife along the way. Small Grade 2 rapids keep things interesting without demanding any prior experience.
Full-day options are also available. A full safety briefing and paddle training are included with every departure.
